Mounted (Horse) Patrol Unit
Mounted officers cover rough terrain, see over crowds and fences and are impossible to ignore. Horseback patrols bring exceptional visibility and reach to estates, open land and events.
The risk — and how we manage it
Large estates, greenbelts, farms and veld perimeters are difficult and costly to patrol by vehicle or on foot — and crowds at events need a calm, visible presence.
Our mounted officers patrol trails, river lines, fence lines and open areas that vehicles can’t reach, with a high vantage point for spotting intruders. At events, mounted officers provide a highly visible, calm presence that supports crowd flow and deterrence.
